Аннотация:The paper presents experimental data on the interfacial surface dynamics of superfluid helium – vapor in the vertical channel with heater in the upper part. Experiments have been сarried out to study the processes of heat and mass transfer at the interface surface of helium II–vapor phases when applying a thermal load to a volume of liquid inside the experimental cell. The scheme of the experimental cell is presented. As a result of the experiments, it was shown that when a thermal load is applied above a certain value, a vapor layer forms on the heater surface and the interfacial surface vapor–superfluid helium oscillates vertically with a constant amplitude and frequency that depend on the experimental parameters (liquid temperature, depth of the heater and heat flux). Based on the processed and received data, an analysis is made and dependencies of amplitude and frequency on pressure was built.A model for describing the processes of heat and mass transfer during the boiling of superfluid helium is suggested. The results of solving the differential equation are compared with experimental data.
