Аннотация:The research is devoted to an overview of mathematical models and applied problems in mathematical modeling of geomechanical processes occurring in rocks. These problems were simulated in CAE Fidesys, which allows solving static and dynamic problems of geomechanics and geotechnics using spectral element method (SEM) of variable order of space approximation. Examples of solved problems with Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown mathematical models used in practice to describe the deformation of rocks and soils are considered. Simulation of plastic shear bands and their dependence on material properties is analyzed. Obtained numerical results are verified by comparison with the analytical solutions.
