Аннотация:For many years, X-ray and gamma radiation fluxes coming from the atmosphere have been monitored in Apatity. Increases in radiation are observed during precipitation. Thousands of such events have been accumulated over decades, and a morphological analysis of their profiles has been carried out. However, until recently, all measurements were of an integral nature, so the nature of the observed increases was unclear, although indirect signs indicated that these increases were not associated with the presence of radionuclides in precipitation. In 2023-24, additional continuous measurements of the differential spectrum of gamma radiation coming from the atmosphere were started. Spectrum measurements during increases showed that, although the lines of individual radionuclides are present, their contribution to the spectrum is small.
