Аннотация:The article analyzes the development of Sino-Turkish cooperation in renewable energy (RE) against the background of contemporary energy and climate challenges. It examines prerequisites for this cooperation, including Türkiye’s high dependence on energy imports, China’s global dominance in solar and wind energy equipment manufacturing, and the existing bilateral treaty framework. Through an analysis of specific projects and investment data, the study identifies the key forms of Chinese participation: direct equipment supply, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, the establishment of joint ventures with local production, as well as financing schemes involving Chinese policy banks and insurers (the EPC+F model). The conclusion highlights the positive impact of Sino- Turkish renewable energy cooperation, the growing diversification of the Turkish energy mix while simultaneously expanding China’s export markets.
