Аннотация:In further development of the ideas elucidated in the authors’ previous works this paper discusses theproblems of the perception of phenomena yielded by cold, analyzes the evolution of our understanding of themand dissects questions of terminology that refl ects the manifestations of cryodiversity. The possibility of analyzingcryodiversity as an aggregate of the objects within the frame of cryogenic geosystems of diff erent types andranks is explored. A scheme of interactions between the given objects as elements of such geosystems is proposed, and examples of the application of such an analysis for the assessment of cryogenic environments are provided.
