Аннотация:In this work, a pulsed-periodic laser was used for single-tracks formation on Cu-40Cr-10TiC (wt%) composite obtained by mechanical alloying to study the effect of laser melting on its microstructure and microhardness. The mixture of starting components was ball milled for up to 10 h followed by hot pressing. It was shown that after mechanical alloying, composite particles with dispersed homogeneous microstructure and microhardness of 548 HV were formed. After laser melting, the microhardness decreases to 294 HV. Chromium crystallizes as large layered regions and spheroids with 0.5–8 µm in size. Chromium carbide formation was also observed. The best structure was obtained at 260 W peak power.
