Аннотация:We presented the results of a computer modeling of the TAIGA-HiSCORE installation in an extended configuration. TAIGA-HiSCORE is a 1 km2 grid of 120 optical stations designed for EAS detection with angular resolution of 0.1. High angular resolution is necessary for gamma-ray astronomy because it allows better suppression of the cosmic ray background and better determination of the location of the sources. The further the EAS axis is from the perimeter of the installation, the worse the angular resolution. It is shown that the placement of additional peripheral stations not only increases the effective area of the installation, but also signifi- cantly improves the angular resolution of edge and outer events from 0.4–1 to 0.15–0.3.
