Аннотация:This study presents findings from research aimed atdesigning an innovative heterogeneous robotic system tailored for thecontrol of Heracleum sosnowskyi – commonly known as Sosnowsky’shogweed – in ecologically sensitive and otherwise inaccessibleshoreline zones of reservoirs and other water bodies. The proposedapproach centers on the deployment of an unmanned surface vesselserving as a mobile base for a fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs). The methodology integrates autonomous surveillance withautomated identification of invasive flora through computer visiontechniques, followed by highly targeted eradication via the precisedelivery of herbicide-filled biodegradable capsules using either apneumatic or pyrotechnic launch mechanism. This strategy ensuresmaximal treatment efficacy while drastically minimizing chemicalusage, safeguarding human operators from exposure to toxic plantcompounds, and substantially reducing ecological risks to aquatic andriparian ecosystems compared to conventional control practices. Theresults of the analysis affirm the system’s viability for real-worlddeployment in environmental monitoring and biodiversity conservationinitiatives.
