Аннотация:It is proposed that high-speed Ca atoms detected in the Hermean exosphere are produced in outer envelopes of clouds formed by 110 km/s impacts. It is predicted that Al atoms delivered to the exosphere by the same mechanism are also very hot. Additional hydrodynamic simulations of 70, 90, and 130 km/s impact events are required for deeper understanding of ejecta velocities distribution and condensation of Ca and Al in impact-produced clouds. Findings of this work can be applied to analysis of BepiColombo mission data.
