- Аннотация: Features are considered of the construction of closed equations for the mean field of acoustic waves with discontinuous profiles in a randomly inhomogeneous medium. Different approaches to obtaining such equations are compared. It is shown that despite the smoothing of profiles on average, a discontinuity in a profile should be considered before averaging. An exact expression is obtained for the mean field of the initial N-wave.
