Аннотация:In this study, amphiphilic chitosan derivatives were synthesized via a mechanochemical methodby reacting the polysaccharide with unsaturated organic acids (cinnamic acid, sorbic acid) ina twin-screw extruder under pressure and shear stress. It was shown that at a temperature of80 °C and varying molar ratios of the starting reagents, derivatives with different degrees ofsubstitution (ranging from 0.05 to 0.33, as determined by elemental analysis) were formed. Itwas found that in dilute solutions of the synthesized derivatives, lipophilic-type intermolecularinteractions occur, leading to the formation of aggregates significantly larger in size comparedto unmodified chitosan.
