Аннотация:This work presents the results of single-crystal growth of rare-earth aluminum dimetaboratesRAl2.07(B4O10)O0.6 (R = La–Nd) from a high-temperature K2Mo3O10-based flux. Thesecompounds are shown to undergo gradual decomposition in open systems at temperaturesbelow their melting points, indicating limited thermal stability under ambient conditions. Thecomposition, phase purity and thermal behavior of the obtained crystals were systematicallyinvestigated. In addition, luminescence spectra of Nd³⁺-doped solid solutions have been studied,revealing the potential of these materials as laser active media.
