Аннотация:Magnetic topological materials (MTIs) including MnBi2Te4 are of scientific interest due to the possibility to reveal the interplay between topological and magnetic orders. For these materials preparation issues are still challenging. In our paper we report new synthetic protocol using two-phase source (liquid + floating solid according to the peritectic line in the phase diagram) in Bridgman-like growth procedure. Nucleation conditions were preliminary determined by DTA. We applied it to grow a number of TIs of GeAs2Te4 structural type (124 phase) including individual compounds MnBi2Te4, MnSb2Te4, GeBi2Te4, SnBi2Te4, PbBi2Te4 and several solid solutions of whole range of compositions: Mn(Bi,Sb)2Te4, (Ge,Mn)Bi2Te4, new materials Mn(Bi,In)2Te4. We have obtained crystals of few cm in size which were characterized in composition by XRF, XRD, XPS, HAADF-STEM/EDX and in crystal perfection by AFM and ARPES. In the case of 124 phases the composition is always constant whereas for the solid solution we observed slight variations of mole fractions. The method developed can be used to obtain single crystals of any incongruently melted compounds with small region of primary crystallization from melt in the corresponding equilibrium phase diagrams.
