Аннотация:Abstract. Given a topological vector space X with a solid cone and linearself-mappings A, B : X → X, a new concept of (A, B)-search conic function isintroduced on a TVS-valued cone metric space. A theorem on the searching forzeros is proved for such conic functions. The ensuing coincidence and fixed pointtheorems are given, as well. The obtained results represent a further developmentof the search method for zeros of functionals on a metric space proposed earlierby the author, and an expansion of this method to the case of a TVS-valued conemetric space. The background of the fixed point existence problem for contractionmappings on a cone metric space, a short survey of the author’s previous resultsand connections with some theorems of other authors are also given.
