Аннотация:A new species Chorthippus kegenicus sp. nov. is described based on the calling and courtship songs and morphology. Morphological characters bring the new species close to C. angulatus Tarbinsky, 1927 and C. karelini (Uvarov, 1910): the morphology of tegmina is similar to that in C. karelini, whereas the morphology of stridulatory file is similar to that in C. angulatus. In the new species and in C. angulatus, we found a homology of stridulatory pegs in two sexes, which is not common within Gomphocerinae. The song analysis allows to reliably distinguish all three species mentioned. At the same time, the analysis of courtship songs (both stridulatory leg movements and sound) showed that the new species is closer to C. angulatus than to C. karelini.
