Аннотация:The analytical solution is found for the inhomogeneous two-dimensional distribution of electric current in a barber-pole magnetoresistive element. Based on this solution, the magnetoresistance of this element is calculated and compared with the experiment. It is shown that taking into account the features of current flow and the inhomogeneity of the magnetization distribution leads to good agreement with the measured characteristics of the magnetic sensor. At the same time, commonly used approximations can give significant discrepancies with the experiment.
