Аннотация:In this work, monolithic graphene oxide aerogel (GOA) with a volume of about 4 cm3 was obtained. In order to modify its properties, the GOA samples were irradiated with 60Co gamma-rays with doses from 10 to 220 kGy. By using XPS it was found
that the oxygen/carbon ratio in the samples studied decreases as a result of irradiation. A blue shift of the G peak is observed in the Raman spectra of the irradiated samples which indicates
an increase in the proportion of sp3 bonds during irradiation. It was shown for the first time that detachment of the surface layer from the GOA monolith begins at a dose of 40 kGy. It turned out that the pore sizes on the outer side of the
exfoliated layer of the GOA monolith are smaller than those of the inner layers. The surface layer removal improves the GOA sorption properties towards n-hexane.
