Аннотация:Abstract—Civil engineering and the construction of critical facilities are always accompanied by a complex of preparatory work, including the assessment of the seismic hazard of the region. To a greater extent, this applies to such seismically active areas as the Tien Shan. Here, it is necessary to determine the actual parameters of earthquakes in order to prepare the protection of structures from seismic impacts. Despite the existence of a modern system for monitoring and recording seismic events, the question of the periodization of high-magnetic earthquakes, their recurrence and lulls remains open. This is necessary for the possibility of further calculation of possible physical and economic damage, as well as readiness to eliminate the consequences of a seismic event. To obtain an answer to this issue, scientific research from the section of archeoand paleoseismology is used. In 2023, comprehensive paleoseismological work was carried out in the Naryn region in order to clarify the seismic hazard of the region.
