Аннотация:Abstract. The publication presents the results of an assessment of the distribution of the aqueous fraction of the fluid in lithospheric blocks of increased electrical conductivity of the Altai-Sayan region. They correlate with the position of the domains of reduced velocities of longitudinal waves or increased absorption of transverse earthquake waves. It is shown that the distribution of the aqueous fraction of the fluid, carried out taking into account the partial connectivity of the aqueous fraction of the fluid, changes in temperature and pressure, depends on the orientation of tectonic stresses relative to deep faults and seismic activity of the structures in question in the region. This aims to conduct magnetotelluric studies in order to control seismic hazards.
