Аннотация:Mining of minerals and metallurgical industries are major industrial enterprises that have brought economic development to northern regions of Russia. One of the largest areas is Norilsk industrial region (Northern Siberia). However, a high level of industrialisation significantly affects the geocryological conditions of these regions. In-situ study results indicate tendencies of permafrost degradation of the top geological horizons which are characterised by increasing of the active layer depth, permafrost temperatures and technogenie salt concentrations. Most of technogenic violations relate to the urban territories, industrial zones, places of mining and metallurgical waste landfills creating irregular encircled zones of natural landscapes with different levels of ecological disturbance. The special geotechnical environmental measures directed in permafrost controlling and stabilizing of technogenic complexes are very important in the conditions of the industrial influence increasing and global climatic heating.
