Аннотация:Due to the increasing anthropogenic impact on the Yamal Peninsula and global warming, enhanced monitoringof flag species is necessary to assess the state of the fragile tundra ecosystem. The variability in space and time ofskulls of Yamal Arctic foxes (Vulpes lagopus), the crucial terrestrial predators of the Arctic, was studied. Sex, temporal, and geographic factors on the morphological appearance of skulls were evaluated.
