Аннотация:Simple bromides of copper and antimony are still in a focus of interest as compounds of new complex halides for optoelectronics or possible products of its decomposition. Here the interaction of copper(I) bromide and antimony(III) bromide have been investigated on heating up to 650°C. The products of cooling have been investigated for their phase analysis and micromorphology to analyze crystallization processes in its melts. No texturing effects have been found for both simple bromides. It has been demonstrated that SbBr3 releases from the melt resulting in porous ceramic products. No new additional double bromides have been obtained in the binary system CuBr – SbBr3.
