Аннотация:Many emerging porous silicon-based products, such as theranostic formulations, battery anode pastes, sunscreens, shampoos, and electronic inks require stable particle suspensions and colloids. In this review, the preparation methods and general behavior of porous silicon nanoparticles (SiNPs) in liquids are summarized and discussed from the perspective of industrial and biomedical applications. Such common methods like ultrasonic fragmentation (USF) and mechanical milling of porous silicon films and nanowires are usually used to prepare suspensions and colloids of SiNPs. Important properties of SiNPs including particle surface coating, absorbance spectra, zeta potential, surface area, etc. are discussed.
