Аннотация:This work is devoted to solving the problem ofimproving the adhesive strength of CVD coatings. As a promising method for creating adhesive layers based on nickel, the method of electroless plating (autocatalytic plating) was chosen, which makes it possible to obtain coatings from multicomponent Ni–P(B) systems on steel products of complex geometric configuration. A key feature of the method is the ability to apply coatings that increase their hardness during annealing. Thus, the adhesive layer of the Ni–P alloy can act as a support layer, which provides increased resistance of the hard tungsten–carbide coating to normal loads. Particular attention is paid to the study of the performance characteristics of Ni–P/W–C multilayer coatings on St3 steel in comparison with nickel electroplating and the use of metallic nickel instead of steel as a substrate.
