Аннотация:Regularities of the spatial distribution of 137Cs in forest soil at the microlandscape level in semihydromophic and hydromorphic conditions of Bryansk oblast have been investigated at different measurement intervals (10, 2, and 0.5 m) using a KORAD radiometer. We compared the variability of the 137Cs contamination obtained by two devices that differed in the size of the sampling area: (1) a KORAD radiometer and (2) sampler D = 14 cm. The ratio of the variability of the 137Cs distribution obtained by field radiometry to the sampling data (CVkorad/CVsample) is 0.63 for the entire plot and 0.87 for its hydromorphic part, B1-1. The spatial correlation is slight for the entire 50 × 80 m-plot (the chessboard effect) and is strong with a rank of 1.4 m for the local hydromorphic plot. Keywords: cesium-137, soil heterogeneity, geostatistics, microlandscape, support (size of sampling area)
