Аннотация:Based on the experiment of 2004-2013 the possibility of using plants in the information and the managerial apparatus ofthe city have been analyzed (on the example of Donetsk). Aspects of the urban environment where the plants in their indicativeproperties can optimize analytical measures in addressing environmental programs have been highlighted: functional zoning ofthe urban environment, the efficiency of public services, the level of contamination of soil and air pollution, predictive planningof new urban areas. Signs of plants for the implementation of the monitoring study have been shown.Keywords: bioindication, monitoring, urban environment, the environmental situation.
