Аннотация:Collagen-chitosan scaffolds modified with Ag and Au nanoparticles have been synthesized using the metal-vapor synthesis for the first time. The nanocomposite materials are characterized by XPS, TEM, and synchrotron radiation-based X-ray techniques. According to XRD the mean sizes of nanoparticles (NPs) are 7-8 nm and 15-17 nm in Au-Collagen-Chitosan (Au-СollСh) and Ag-Сollagen-Сhitosan (Ag-CollCh) scaffolds, respectively in fair agreement with the TEM data. SAXS analysis of the Ag-CollCh composite reveals a bimodal distribution of Ag nanoparticles in the material indicative of particle’s aggregation. XPS data indicate that the metallic nanoparticles are in their unoxidized/neutral states and dominantly stabilized within the chitosan-rich domains.
