Аннотация:A model of the cubic nonlinear optical susceptibility of a superconductor is developed for the process of self-diffraction of two light waves with different frequencies. Experimental data on Y-Ba-Cu-O [9] are interpreted, and possible values for fitting parameters of the model are estimated (amplitudes chi(ac) and chi(nr) of contributions due to processes involving low-frequency acoustic phonons and due to multiparticle scattering, respectively, the rate constant of relaxation of Gamma(E) quasi-particles in reservoir). Here we establish the interference character of the "dip" observed in [9] in a high-temperature superconductor at temperatures theta below a critical point on the dependence of efficiency eta of the nonlinear process on frequency detuning Omega of pump components.
