Аннотация:The objective of this study is to analyze oil pollution influence on lipids content in soils. We have investigated podzolic soils in Moscow region polluted by oil products through the whole soil profile in concentrations of 70-150 mg*kg-1. It was found lipids content increase (1.5-5.0 times versus native soils) in the low soil horizons under hydromorphic and partly hydromorphic conditions: redox potential is at the level of 350-400 mV, water content - 35-40 w.%. In the upper soil horizons under automorphic conditions (redox potential is at the level of 510-550 mV, water content - 20 w.%) it was not found any changes versus native soils. It is possible to conclude the oil transformation process depends on the soil conditions characteristics: in the upper horizons under automorphic conditions it goes by the way of full oil products oxidation to CO2 and H2O; in the lower soil horizons under hydromorphic and partly hydromorphic conditions it goes by the way of partly oxidized products forming and accumulation. It leads to lipids fraction increase. Thus lipids fraction growth in soils can be so called "memory" about the oil-pollution happened in the past.
