Аннотация:Quantitative determination of different macro- and micronutrients in plants is an important problem, since it's well known that the deficiency or excess of some elements (for example chlorine) in live organism leads to serious disturbance of metabolic processes. Both cations and anions are involved in energy exchange, photosynthesis, adjustment of water balance and also in maintenance of cation balance. Therefore, the study of their distribution in plants presents scientific interest and brings new fundamental knowledge in the branch of plant physiology. Moreover, biogens content in agricultural species should be known for optimizing growing condition. Following these objectives, the rapid direct methods of local analysis of organic samples have undoubted advantages among analytical techiques. In this way LIBS meets these requirements, but often its sensitivity is poor. In this study we evaluate LIBS possibilities for quantification of both non-metals like boron or chlorine and metals including alkaline alkaline-earth and transition metals in plant materials. Totally we quantified 15 elements including Be, B, Li, Al, Mg, K, P, etc. The special attention was focused on sensitivity enhancement techniques for non-metal determination like double-pulse in collinear and orthogonal configuration as well as resonance excitation.
