Аннотация:The Crimean - Caucasian - Black Sea region has a complex history in the Mesozoic Cenozoic period. The paper presents a new scheme of its geological development based on a correlation of tectonic events in the whole region. The data for the scheme were produced by separate considerations of the tectonic history of the Scythian platform, the orogeny of the Great Caucasus, the South Crimean orogeny, Dobrudzha, the Mezian platform, the Pontide - Transcausasian - Elburz magmatic belt and the Black Sea basin. Palaeotectonic maps of the region are presented for various stages of the Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleocene - Eocene, Oligocene and Miocene.
