Аннотация:Descriptive image algebras are defined as a tool for the unification of image processing, analysis, and recognition. The elements of these algebras are object models and image processing operations. Some variants of basic descriptive image algebras that are constructed by using standard algebraic operations and operations of image algebra are presented. The widespread image algebras (mathematical morphology, standard image algebra of Ritter, image algebra of Grenander) are studied as the basis for constructing descriptive image algebras useful for applications of image processing, analysis, and recognition. Their relations are analyzed and illustrated by the diagram for basic algebraic structures.
