Аннотация:В статье на основе широкого круга источников рассматривается история создания в Севастополе первых ведомственных учебных заведений, действовавших до и во время Крымской войны. Дана общая характеристика организации учебного процесса во Флотском училище малолетних юнгов и Училище для дочерей нижних морских служителей (Девичьем), приходском и уездном училищах. Приводятся статистические данные по учебным заведениям, содержится краткая информация об их руководителях и педагогах. Сделан вывод, что к середине 30-х гг. XIX века в Севастополе была создана сеть учебных заведений, предназначенных для начального образования детей горожан, принадлежащих к различным сословиям. Сыновья и дочери нижних чинов получили возможность обучаться во Флотском училище юнгов и Училище для дочерей нижних морских служителей. Для остальных сословий были открыты уездное и приходское училища.
The creation history of the first departmental educational institutions operating before and during the Crimean war in Sevastopol is considered in article on the basis of a wide range of sources. The general characteristic of the educational process organization in Naval school for ship’s boys (Naval school) and in School for daughters of the bottom sea attendants (Maiden school), as well as in district and parishional schools is given. Statistical data on educational institutions are provided. Brief information about their heads and teachers is presented. It is concluded that by the mid-30s of the 19th century a network of educational institutions had been created in Sevastopol for the primary education of citizens’ children belonging to different classes. The sons and daughters of the lower ranks got the opportunity to study at the Naval College for the Jungs and the School for the daughters of the the bottom sea attendants. District and parishional schools were opened for the remaining estates
