Аннотация:В статье на основании документальных источников рассмотрены действия отдельного отряда черноморских фрегатов, оставшегося в Средиземном море после ухода в 1800 году к черноморским портам эскадры адмирала Ф.Ф. Ушакова. В центре внимания - судьба командиров отряда - капитана 2 ранга графа Н.Д. Войновича и сменившего его капитана 1 ранга К.К. Константинова (Костанди). Сделан вывод, что противоречия в действиях командования эскадры, Черноморского флота, высшей императорской власти и российских дипломатов связаны как с затрудненной коммуникацией между ними, так и с быстро меняющейся военно-политической обстановкой на Средиземноморском театре военных действий.
The actions of an independent detachment of the Black Sea frigates that remained in Mediterranean Sea after leaving in 1800 of the fleet of the admiral F.F. Ushakov to the Black Sea ports are considered in this article on the basis of documentary sources. Destiny of commanders of group - the captain II rank count Nikolay Voynovich and the captain I rank Kiryak Konstantinov (Kostandi) who replaced him are the focus of this research paper. The author comes to the conclusion that contradictions between actions of the squadron’s command, the Black Seas fleet, supreme imperial authority and Russian diplomats were caused both by encumbered communication between them and by rapidly changing political-military situation at the Mediterranean theatre of operations.
