Аннотация:The needle optimization technique is applied to the designing of broadband coatings with simultaneously specified intensity and phase derivatives targets. Specifically the designing of output couplers with the transmittance equal to 6 percent in the spectral region form 650 nm to 1100 nm is considered. Other targets include group delay dispersion upon transmission (GDDT) and group delay dispersion upon reflection (GDDR). Theoretical considerations exposing the nature of GDDT and GDDR oscillations are provided.
