Аннотация:In this paper, the results of the study of the application of the mathematical model
MONICA (MOdel for NIitrogen and CArbon) for soil crop productivity are presented using the survey
data of experimental fields in the chernozem soils of the Kursk region. Consistent predicted results of the peak of the model leaf area index with peak NDVI indices from the processing of satellite data were demonstrated. Within the studied five-year crop rotation, the accuracy of modeling the sugar beet yield in 2015 is about 85% and 80% of the 2016 soybean yield. The compiled model yield map for a small number of surveyed soil sections on the experimental field is consistent with the actual observable results of the crop measurement. Within the framework of the study, key input parameters of the mathematical model under study were also revealed.
