Аннотация:The mineralogical composition of the water-peptized sludge mainly consists of detrital forms of quartz grains, feldspars, hydromicas, and to a lesser extent smectite phase. The aggregated sludge contains the typical paragenetic association, hydromica-mixed-layer, with swelling packages and domination by hydromica.
The application of mineral fertilizers in a single dose had an impact on the ratio of the major mineral phases. Adding a double dose of NPK resulted in a reduction of mixed-layer formations in water-peptized slugde in topsoil layer (43%). Also, in this variant of the experiment we observe an increase in the amount of hydromicas of the water-peptized sludge in topsoil by 10% compared to the control group (46% and 36%, respectively).
It has been established that the application of the increased amounts of mineral fertilizers leads to a decrease in the amount of mixed-layer formations. Sludge fractions are replenished with the minerals that are more resistant to weathering, but with a large number of inert components, such as quartz and dioctahedral mica.
