Аннотация:Single crystals with the composition close to RM3O8 (R = Rb, Cs; M = Nh, Ta) are grown by spontaneous crystallization in the R2O-M2O5-B2O3 systems, and their structural, electrical, optical, and some other properties are studied. Crystals are centrosymmetric, trigonal, sp. gr. R (3) over bar m. They exhibit no phase transitions in the range from room temperature to 900 degrees C and have a rather high electrical conductivity (similar to 10(-5) Ohm(-1)cm(-1)) as compared to typical dielectrics.
