It is rather well-know and scientifically researched that one’s sibling position may have influence on the psychological well-being, and, for the older siblings, such influence in certain cases may be somehow negative. This work continues the line of the similar researches focusing on mothers with small children. Sibling position of the older sister is associated with a certain deterioration in psychological well-being of her being a mother in terms of depression, anxiety and optimism.
