Many mothers are torn between their children and work. However, both of these fields are important for modern women and, therefore, need to be somehow balanced. The research was aimed to study associations between the intensity of work engagement, other work-related arrangements and maternal burnout during the first years of motherhood. While the mere fact of work engagement has not demonstrated its significance in our study, work-related arrangements seem to be essential. Working out of home is associated with less burnout levels compared to working from home or mixed arrangements.
