The problem of environmental сontamination is becoming more acute every year. Recently, scientists have been paying more and more attention to the pollution of surface and groundwater by microparticles of plastic. The presentation focuses on the results of the authors' own research on the territory of the Mountainous Crimea, the Kaluga region, and the Zvenigorod biostation, as well as a summary of current research on microplastic particles in groundwater in the world.
