Multicomponent alloys and compounds classified as medium- and high-entropy materials exhibit unique properties. Hydrogenation of such materials can yield novel compositions exhibiting significantly altered physico-chemical properties, suitable for developing new advanced materials and designing on their basis efficient working bodies for industrial devices (refrigeration systems in particular). This work was aimed at studying how a combined addition of hydrogen and terbium to the multicomponent Gd0.33Dy0.33Y0.33Ni compound affected its magnetic properties.
