We present results on field and spectral dependences of the transverse Kerr effect (TKE) for (Co40Fe40B20)x(LiNbO3)100−x nanocomposite films with x=43, 47, 55 and 59 at.% deposited on silicon substrates and with x=59 at.% on glass-ceramic, silicon and quartz substrates. It is shown that the magneto-optical spectroscopy can help to find the critical concentration for the metal-insulator transition, superferromagnetic state, and difference of magnetic properties of samples with the same composition but fabricated on different substrates. For example
