Аннотация доклада:
The dynamics of electrons released during above-threshold ionization (ATI) of argon atoms in the presence of a single-cycle terahertz pulse was experimentally studied. It has been shown that the phase of the THz waveform relative to a short ionizing near-IR pulse determines the maximum cutoff of electron energy spectrum, the distance between ATI peaks, and the total yield by the time-of-flight spectrometer.
