Аннотация доклада:
This study investigates the morphology and formation of deep scour holes (pits) in the Anadyr River, which can reach depths of up to 45 meters. These pits are located both in the main river channel and in floodplain tributaries. The recent fieldwork conducted in 2024 focused on 239 overdeepened pits, incorporating advanced methods such as echosounder depth measurements, ADCP for velocity and flow direction analysis, and soil and water sampling within the pits to examine sediment composition and hydrochemical properties.
