Carbon dioxide is using as a raw material for obtaining useful products, such as methane, olefins, gasoline, aromatics and alcohols, etc. Catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 to obtain olefins effectively occurs on Fe-containing catalysts. In this work Fe-containing catalyst was synthesised by sol-gel combustion. Phase composition, chemical state of iron and catalytic properties in the CO2 hydrogenation were studied.
