The issues of professional implementation and education are among the most important in our life. And it's not surprising, considering how much time each of us spends on study and work and how much depends on it. And of course, the radical changes that are taking place now can not but affect these spheres. Today in Russia, much attention is paid to the discussion of innovation, the digital economy, labor productivity and competitiveness. However, these plans are unrealizable without a systematic approach to the development of human capital, including how to attract and retain the best minds, and to ensure conditions for the growth of progressive employers. One of the most important tasks of these companies is to create new highly skilled jobs that are inherent in a technological, diversified, creative economy - the knowledge economy. In the production of human capital, the emphasis is on "soft" skills: on the breadth of the glance, the ability to lead the discussion, to present the result in various ways, to communicate, to work in teams. And then the question arises not only what we teach, but how and where we teach. The article deals with the issues of building an educational process at the university, what the university must do to get rid of imitation in research activities; how to solve the problem of interdisciplinarity in the university; how to form organizational cultures and norms of activity in the university.
