Studies have been conducted on the effects of positive and negative corona discharge on seeds of soft winter wheat infected with hard smut, alternariasis and helminthosporiosis, with a discharge exposure time of 20 to 120 minutes. It was shown that the treatment of winter wheat seeds with a positive crown had a stronger disinfecting effect in comparison with a negative crown. With the revealed suppression of alternariasis and helminthosporiosis by plasma, there is no need to use chemical seed protectants. With an increase in the time of grain processing by corona discharge, the contamination of grains decreases.
