It is known that in purification processes of gases from the carbon dioxide sorption solutions circulating in the sorption-desorption systems contains besides amine absorbents, various organic and inorganic acids and salts, nitrogen compounds, etc. in a wide range of concentrations. These impurities are products of amine degradation and may affect the parameters of electrodialysis process [1 – 3]. Substances formed during thermal degradation of the solution, for example monoethanolamine (MEA), have different electrolytic activity that will influence the electrodialysis treatment kinetics of absorbent and composition of the resulting diluate and concentrate. In the present work the results of a study electrical conductivity and kinetics of electrodialysis process of aqueous and MEA containing acids and salts solutions, modeling MEA degradation and corrosion products.
