Results of experimental investigation of time behavior and changes in respiratory activity and biomass of microorganisms in sands during succession, initiated by glucose moistening, are discussed. Time behavior of stress-strain properties of these sands during this processes and its link to the characteristics of microbiotic complex are also shown. The maximum of biomass and respiratory activity is discovered on the 7th-14th days of succession. In this period cohesion ratios of all samples increase and values of angles of internal friction decrease. During the following period of succession in several samples the increasing of stress-strain characteristics is described, and in one sample the angle of internal friction decreases and cohesion ratio increases through all succession period.
